The US Army was still very dependent upon horses. The loss of 4777 to influenza or "shipping fever" over the last six weeks, is wrapped around Chamberlains' remedies, good for "colds," "coughs," and "blocked sewers [constipation]." Elsewhere Cambridge, Marylanders are advised how to bake "wheatless biscuits," and that all unnaturalized Germans must register.
