In the farming community of Owosso, Michigan a public health notice requiring all children with chickenpox stay home, by order of the Health Officer W.E. Ward. No influenza is reported, but homeopathic remedies are advertised on the inside pages. Humphries Remedy (No. 77) for La Grippe is settled among the notices for farm supplies, merchants seeking cream, and vendors looking for second hand false teeth.
