Delegates to the Negro Race Congress meet with President Wilson - "the most encouraging incident in the history of the race in many years" according to the Richmond Planet. The Baptist General Association is delayed until November 6-9 as a result of the spanish influenza. All YWCA meeting gs are cancelled due to the quarantine in Richmond, and Mrs Rosa Sully's funeral has to occur outside at the cemetery.
