In Brattleboro, Vermont Paul Chase is expected back to work after several days absence from influenza. The local fuel committee gratefully reports that many organizations have "cheerfully signified their intention to conform" with the cancellation of public entertainment until April. The Bolshevik government declares the war over and is demobilizing the Army.
