The report from Camp Funston is that deserters are being given 20 year sentences at Leavenworth. George Yeager refuses service, states his IWW/Wobblie stances, and "vilely" curses President Wilson. Influenza is reported on the inside pages, but only among horses; public yards are quarantined from the Army stock.
