The Oklahoma City Times reports that an epidemic strangely like grippe was sweeping thousands out of work at the Ford factories in Michigan. The Michigan press has less coverage than the 8 line-story in the Oklahoma press. The item is stuck between the polls in Milwaukee and Chicago where socialists are winning and testing the boundaries of loyalty, and the report that brigades of US troops will be put into British and French regiments to ensure they can get into the fight immediately.
