Doctors in Brooklyn deny that the Norwegian liner brought influenza patients to New York. The Board of Health issues a bulletin saying residents there was no reason to fear an epidemic. The NYC subway system upgrade is not providing the expected relief form crowding, the Public Service Commission is going to hold a hearing.
