Billy Sunday, a prominent evangelist and Prohibition advocate, had his national tour disrupted by influenza circulating among his workers. Nine of the 11 deaths reported by the American Expeditionary Force (AEF) were from pneumonia. Pittsburgh is threatened with bomb terror, and in Europe their are worker revolts in Petrograd and Vienna.
