Bogalusa, LA is warned that "old flu" is on the run, but to chase it away they must obey all sanitary laws, rules and regulations, say away from crowds and stay in bed when ordered. The Southern Lumber Company buys the page in the interest of public health. The essential work requirements are extended, and all men 17 to 55 will be required to work 6 or more hours a day for 6 days a week.
