The Lancaster County, SC pig show will now be held at the Lancaster Mercantile company’s farm. The show had a delay forced by the influenza outbreak. George Creel, chair of the committee on public information pariahs the patriotic support of the press and lifts the voluntary censorship order. Troops were deployed to Winston Salem, NC to protect the jail and avert a mob lynching of an African American.
