A marriage for a sick soldier at Camp Upton takes place with participants in gas masks and hospital gowns. The A.M.E. Church Review calls for a closing of the ranks against the tyranny in Germany and the same tyranny of lynching in America. The Review says the constitutional amendment against lynching should no more wait until the end of the war than women's suffrage or labor demands.
