The quarantine is lifted at the Bellevue (NY) hospital. The NYC health department continues to sanction anyone found spitting. Harold Edel, Director of the Strand Theatre has died of influenza at twenty-nine, previously he had run a penny arcade and theaters in Cleveland and Buffalo. He leaves a widow and a two-year old son.
