The annual Daughters of the American Revolution dinner in Richmond, VA is addressed by the French (Jules Jusserand) and Italian ambassadors. Jusserand honors the removal of the German statue of Frederick the Great. Richmond is underperforming in the sale and purchase of Liberty Bonds, the local committee blmaiong public overconfidence.
