Invoking the Collinsville tragedy the Webster City Freeman offers a differnt manner to treat pro-Germans. The proscribed method was to bound the farmer from Primghar over on a $1000 bond, and to lecture him on democracy, and brief history of the war including Germany's attack on Belgium. He is reported to have returned home and raised the Americna flag in his front yard, and visited his neighbors to apologize.
