A carnival fundraiser for the Red Cross and the soldier's athletic fund is expected to attract 10,000 to Camp Raritan, NJ. Comedians, moving picture personages and boxers (including "Irish" Patsy Cline, "Gunboat" Smith, and "Knockout" Eggers). The British Navy has expanded the blockade of Ostend by sinking an old cruiser across the port entrance.
