The reports from England of influenza suggest an international epidemic is on hand. The given narrative is that it originated in Spain and moved into Germany and its army. The grippe is as bad as 1889. Quinine is the suggested best medicine. The Ukrainian peasants are applauded for hiding their grain stores from the invading German army.
