The massive Labor Day parade in Seattle, WA is infused with patriotic and other messages. The Red Cross float gets a big cheer. Labor and the troops are depicted arm in arm in the battle against Germany and the rent hogs (landlords). Lenin is reported assassinated, American troops have joined the fight against the Russians in Siberia.
