Fewer cases of influenza are reported in New York, Commissioner Copeland expresses satisfaction that only 20 cases were registered. Two thousand of the 47,000 navy trainees in the Great Lakes have spanish influenza. Herbert Hoover declares there will be no rationing in the U.S.in 1919.
